This page is for becoming a member NOT a volunteer. Members differ from volunteers in the sense that members don’t have obligations whereas volunteers have obligations. Please read this page carefully to make sure this is what you are looking for. If you are looking to be a volunteer, then please visit the volunteering page.
Members are colleagues who want to support the Syrian Association when an opportunity allows. They don’t have any obligations in the meantime. The relationship between them and the Syrian Association is built on the basis of support and consultation. The Syrian Association will contact members in the following cases:
- Project support: the Syrian Association launches projects regularly and we will contact members to see if they would like to join the projects.
- Consultations requests: the Syrian Association will have continuous communication with members for feedback, ideas, and support when launching a new project or when researching the educational needs in Syria.
- Networking events invitations: the Syrian Association organises networking events regularly in the countries where we operate, and we welcome all members to join.
- Volunteering requests: Vacancies postings will be shared with members.
To become a member, you just need to fill in the membership form and attend an online orientation meeting that will be arranged with you once you submit your form.
