The International Syrian Association for Education Development (Syrian Association) is an international network designed to support Syrian students and consists of over 150 researchers, academics, professionals, scholarship holders, students, and education activists. The majority of our volunteers had the opportunity to study at some of the world’s top universities. We strive to bring together highly qualified Syrians from around the world, who are eager to promote education to achieve the Syrian Association three main objectives:
- Supporting Syrian students to access and complete their higher education and to access the labor market.
- Connecting Syrians on an international scale for the purpose of supporting students and education.
- Disseminating and Transferring professional and academic knowledge among students.
We focus on Syrian students in Syria and neighboring countries, in particular marginalized groups (refugees, IDPs, women and people with disabilities).
We strongly believe in the SDGs and Article 26 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which states that everyone has the right to education.
The Syrian Association does not have any political affiliation. We are an independent organization that lends a helping hand to all Syrian students around the world, regardless of religious, sectarian, and/or political affiliations.
